Joseph A. Mather, MD, MPH & TM
Growing up in Oswego, New York, Dr. Mather is a third generation physician. After attending and graduating from Notre Dame, he came to New Orleans to attend Medical School at Tulane where he also earned a degree in Public Health, specializing in Tropical Medicine. Dr. Mather married a New Orleanian, deepening his roots to our region. After completing his residency at East Jefferson General Hospital, he practiced from a rural clinic in New Zealand for a year. He then returned to the New Orleans area where he has been in practice since. Dr. Mather is Board Certified in Family Medicine with the American Board of Family Medicine.
James N. Mansfield IV, MD
Dr. Mansfield grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and earned a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences at LSU in Baton Rouge. He attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans and fell in love with the city where he stayed for his residency. In his personal life, he enjoys live music, travel, film and biking. In fact, he combined his love of travel and medicine by taking part in a medical mission to Guatemala. Today, he is a respected clinician who loves the one-on-one aspects of primary care. Dr. Mansfield is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
